That is one of the many reasons we purchased Desert Swirl in April 2023 as a family-owned and operated establishment.

Our kids attend school and have grown up in this community, down the street from Desert Swirl. Frequently going to Desert Swirl for frozen treats with friends.

That community and that legacy is what we aim to provide and continue, Desert Swirl having been a part of the community since 1989, providing Thrifty ice cream and protein/fruit smoothies. A legacy we want to live on through our children, working alongside our children. Bringing people together with smiles, sweets, and laughter.
